The Sweater I Can’t Get Enough Of
The desert is finally serving up cooler temps, which for us locals means sweater weather is here! I’ve been dusting off my crew necks and fluffing my cashmere, but had to share the newest one in my collection that I just can’t get enough of— meet the Anine Bing animal print cashmere sweater.
I’ve been wanting to try either a blazer or an oversized sweater from Anine Bing for soooo long. Too long, really. So when I saw this sweater pop up in a random evening search on The Real Real, it felt meant to be.

The sweater itself is thick and incredibly soft, a little oversized, and quite possibly the loveliest crewneck I own. The sleeves and neck feature a little bit of black ruching, nothing too tight, but something to provide shape to an otherwise loose garment. My favorite thing about this piece is how comfortable and snuggly you can be while also looking sharp and put together.
When it comes to styling, there’s so much you can do! My personal favorites have been pairing it with a black leather mini skirt or black shorts and boots (shown here). For a cozier look, team it with black faux leather leggings or black wide leg trouser pants. Have a dinner party or a soiree coming up for the holiday season? Throw it over a slip dress or pleated midi skirt with low heels for an effortlessly chic look. You can really do this with any crew neck sweater. The key is making sure it’s a little oversized, the fabric feels good on your skin, and there’s one element of structure in the piece so it doesn’t come off as loungewear or pjs.
There’s nothing like feeling comfy and cozy while looking elegant and chic. This is one piece that will be on repeat for me this autumn and winter!
